title: Manage pages
description: Create, edit, and organize docs pages from the dashboard editor.
---

Use page management in the dashboard when you want to work on docs structure
without editing files locally.

## Edit an existing page

Select a page in the editor sidebar, make your changes in visual or source
mode, then publish when the draft is ready.

For simple copy changes, edit the page visually. For direct Markdown or MDX
syntax, switch to source mode.

## Add a page

Create a new page from the editor sidebar. Give it a clear title and place it
where readers expect to find it.

New pages become part of your docs when they are included in navigation. If a
page should be available from the navbar or footer instead, configure that link
from dashboard settings or `docs.json`.

## Rename or reorganize pages

Use short, descriptive page titles. If you move a page, update links that point
to it so readers and the assistant can follow the new structure.
